Innovesta 2023, the innovative software solution competition organized by the Institute of Software Engineering, was held on Thursday, February 16th, 2023, at Turyaa Hotel, Kalutara. The event aimed aimed at inspiring students with innovative ideas and encouraging a healthy competition, pushing them to strive for excellence and improve their teamworking skills.
Eight teams presented their ingenious ideas and solutions, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit, and igniting a challenging competition between teams: Matrix, Debug Entity, Solu Tech, Petra Tech, Eon Tech Group (pvt) Ltd, Zyko, Neurogenics, and Flex.
At the conclusion of an intensed competition, the team “Future Tech Solutions” emerged as the winners for “The Most Innovative Software Solution” award in the competition. “The Best Workplace” award was won by the team Solu Tech, and the team Zyko bagged “The Best Teamwork” award. Ms. Maheesha Kavindi from the team Future Tech Solutions won the award for “The Most Outstanding Presenter.”
